Writing
Interpretive curriculum, programs, books, videos, and plays. My writing has spanned many formats and audiences but always delivers memorable entertainment packed with information and break-out segments for audience participatory engagement and discovery.

of the American Association of Museums
The thing is, the place was just an empty classroom, but Lola was able to make the children see so much more in their imaginations. My daughter was so completely immersed in the story that she was that she felt like she was far, far away.
Opening Ceremonies and Extravaganzas

In 2004 I co-wrote the opening ceremonies for VSA at the Kennedy Center, and that year I also
wrote/illustrated Waking. Waking was for adult audiences and explored themes of introspection, purpose, faith, and celestial mythology.
Interpretive Programming
From 2006- 2015 as the founder and creative director for two children’s companies, I wrote and curated many thematic curriculum packages. Among these were cultural arts of over 90 countries, national parks, music of the last 50 years, greek mythology, recycling, space, circus, zoology, and historical women. Each package included introductory and break-out information, curated videos and photographs, and interactive, participatory programming based on art, movement, and drama.
Interactive Fantasy Adventures
From 2010-2016 through Lola’s Lab, I wrote over 40 plays that led audiences on interactive adventures. This work was based on my work at Disney, where I learned that the story is the nugget from which all other engagement avenues diverge. I established a path to re-write and publish books based on the plays I had written in Lola’s Lab. In developing the themes for Lola’s Lab, I always had more ideas than I could explore through the curriculum. The stories in book format reached an elementary to the tween-aged audience. The book formats allowed me to dive deeper into the narratives, where I built out character development and explored other parts of the plot that could not fit into the theatrical formats. I also added pages for participatory engagement that allowed readers to express themselves as they read through the story.
Books, Video, Podcasts
My first book “The Zoopossible Rpyal Kingdom (42 pgs.), was published on Amazon in 2013. The second, Super Oink (80 pgs.), is finished, and I am seeking an agent.

Video is a format that combines my visual, written, and producer brain. I’ve worked in video throughout the years, writing scripts for event intro videos, marketing and community-based videos, and my favorite, ultra-creative fictional stories featuring colorful characters.

In 2018-2019 I wrote/directed/produced a podcast version of Zoopossible to suit an online audio-based audience.
